Monthly WordPress Maintenance Packages, Billed Simply

A monthly package exists so that website upkeep becomes a predictable line item instead of an unpredictable emergency. You know the cost, we know the scope, and the work happens whether or not anybody remembers to ask for it.

Every package is month to month. There is no annual commitment, no cancellation fee, and no penalty for downgrading during a quiet quarter.

Worth knowing: The real value of a monthly package is not the updates — it is that somebody is paying attention. Most site disasters are slow: a plugin abandoned by its developer, backups that silently stopped six months ago, a certificate quietly expiring. Nobody notices until it is expensive.

What’s actually involved

Predictable monthly cost

One fixed amount. No hourly billing, no per-incident charges, no invoice that arrives after the work is already done.

Included edit hours

Every package includes hands-on time for the small changes that otherwise pile up — price updates, new staff bios, a seasonal banner.

Emergency response included

If the site goes down, response is part of the package, not a separate emergency rate charged at the worst possible moment.

Monthly report in plain English

What was updated, what was blocked, how the site performed, and anything that needs a decision from you. No 40-page PDF nobody opens.

Cancel any time

Month to month. We keep clients by being worth keeping.

You keep your backups

If you leave, your backups leave with you. That should not be unusual, but it is.

Plans and pricing

Fixed monthly price, month to month, cancel any time. No bundled hosting and no annual lock-in.

Questions people actually ask

What does a monthly WordPress maintenance package include?

At minimum: WordPress core, theme, and plugin updates tested on staging; daily off-site backups; uptime monitoring; security scanning and hardening; performance monitoring; a set number of edit hours; and a monthly report. Anything calling itself a package without staging-tested updates and off-site backups is missing the parts that matter.

How many hours of work are included?

1 hour on Essential, 3 on Growth, and 6 on Commerce, for content edits and small changes. Hours do not roll over — the package covers ongoing upkeep rather than banking time for a redesign.

Do unused hours carry over?

No, and any provider offering unlimited rollover is either not tracking it or has priced the rollover into your monthly fee. If you have a larger project, we quote it separately at a fixed price.

Can you handle multiple sites?

Yes. Multiple sites on one account get a reduced rate per site — most of the setup and monitoring overhead is per-account rather than per-site. Tell us how many and we will price it.

What counts as an emergency?

Site down, checkout broken, malware detected, or anything blocking customers from doing business with you. Response is included; on Commerce it is within 2 hours.
