Website Speed Test

Real Google Lighthouse data. No signup, no email.

Free, no signup. Takes 15–40 seconds — Google runs a full Lighthouse test.

This runs your page through Google's own PageSpeed Insights and shows you what it found: your Core Web Vitals, your score, and — more usefully — the specific things costing you seconds.

The data comes straight from Google, the same source that feeds the ranking signal. We add the part most tools leave out: what each finding actually means and roughly what it takes to fix.

Questions

Where does this data come from?

Google's PageSpeed Insights API, which runs Lighthouse against your page. It is the same engine behind pagespeed.web.dev and the same measurements that feed Core Web Vitals as a ranking signal.

What is a good score?

Aim for Largest Contentful Paint under 2.5 seconds and Cumulative Layout Shift under 0.1 on mobile — those are Google's thresholds for a good result. Judge mobile rather than desktop, since that is where most visitors and the worst conditions are.

My score changes between runs. Why?

Lighthouse runs on a simulated device and network, so there is natural variance, and third-party scripts respond differently each time. Look at the trend and the specific findings rather than treating a single number as precise.

Does site speed really affect rankings?

Yes — Core Web Vitals are a confirmed ranking signal. The bigger commercial effect is usually conversion, though: visitors abandon slow pages, and someone who leaves before the page renders cannot buy anything regardless of where you rank.
