Not always. A template or builder is the right choice for a simple brochure site you need quickly and cheaply. A custom website is better when speed matters and the platform will not let you fix it, when you need a feature it does not support, or when you want to own the code. If none of those apply, we will say so.
You do. Before any launch, check five things: the domain is registered in your name, hosting is in your account, the code repository is yours, you hold the admin logins, and analytics sits under your own Google account. We set all five up in your accounts from day one, so you can change developers whenever you like.
Typically 4–8 weeks. Content is almost always the bottleneck, not design or development. If your copy and images are ready on day one, it moves faster. You get a staging link in the first week, so you watch the site come together instead of waiting for a reveal.
You can move without starting from zero, but nobody can honestly guarantee rankings. We move content page by page, map every old URL to its new address with a permanent redirect, keep the titles and descriptions that already work, and resubmit the sitemap in Google Search Console.
