MVP Development Services: The Smallest Product Someone Will Pay For

An MVP is not a cheaper, worse version of your product. It is the smallest version that tests the one assumption your business depends on — usually "will people pay for this?" — with real users and real money.

We build one core workflow end to end: sign-up, the job your product exists to do, and a way to charge for it. Everything else waits until customers tell you it matters. That is how a 4–8 week timeline stays honest.

This is for you if

  • ✓You have talked to potential customers and need something real to put in front of them
  • ✓You have a no-code or AI-built prototype that falls over when real people use it
  • ✓You need to show investors working software, not slides
  • ✓You want to launch one thing properly rather than ten things halfway

This is probably not for you if

  • ✕You have not spoken to a single potential customer yet — a landing page and ten conversations will teach you more for far less
  • ✕Your first version genuinely needs teams, roles and subscription billing — that is a SaaS build, not an MVP

We would rather tell you now than take the project and disappoint you.

Worth knowing: Most MVPs fail by being too big, not too small. Every feature added before launch delays the moment you learn whether anyone wants the product, and each one is code you will maintain even if nobody uses it. If a feature does not test your core assumption, it belongs on the list for after launch.

What you get

A scoping session that cuts

We go through your feature list together and sort it into "tests the idea" and "later". The first list is usually a third of the size people expect.

One workflow, done properly

The core job your product does, built so a real user can complete it without you standing behind them.

Accounts and sign-in

Email or Google sign-in through an established provider, password reset, and sessions that behave. Not hand-rolled.

A way to take money

Stripe Checkout or a payment link from day one. Charging early is the fastest way to learn whether the idea works.

Analytics on the steps that matter

Events on the actions that show whether people get value, not a dashboard of vanity numbers.

Code you can grow

Next.js, TypeScript and Postgres in your own repository and accounts, so the next phase builds on it instead of starting over.

Prototype, MVP or full SaaS: which one you actually need

These three get used interchangeably, and mixing them up is how budgets go wrong.

  • Clickable prototype — Screens with no real back end. Good for testing whether people understand the idea. Days rather than weeks, and a design tool is often enough.
  • MVP — Working software with real accounts and real data, doing one job well enough that someone pays for it. That is what this page is about.
  • First SaaS release — Teams, roles, subscription billing with upgrades and failed-payment handling, and admin tools. What you build once the MVP has proven demand.

Started in Lovable, Bolt or Bubble? Bring it

AI app builders and no-code tools are a good way to find out what you want. The trouble starts when the prototype gets real users: data leaking between accounts because database rules were never set, keys sitting in front-end code, and every change breaking something else.

We start with a short review of what you have and tell you honestly whether to harden it or rebuild the core. Often the data model and the lessons are worth keeping even when the code is not.

What we build it with

Deliberately mainstream choices. You should be able to hand this to any competent developer later without them needing to learn something exotic first.

Industries we build for

We work with any business that wins work on trust. These are the ones we have written about at length.

Not sure whether an MVP is what you actually need? Send over what you are trying to fix and we will tell you straight — including if a smaller job would do it.

How it works

1

Scope call

We work out the one assumption the MVP has to test, and cut everything that does not test it.

2

Fixed quote

One price for that scope. New ideas during the build go on a list and are quoted separately, so the launch date holds.

3

Build in weekly slices

A staging link from week one. You click through real progress every week instead of waiting for a reveal.

4

Launch and measure

Live with real users, analytics on the steps that matter, and a short note on what the numbers say after the first weeks.

Questions

How much does MVP development cost?

Our MVPs start at $6,000 and most land between $6,000 and $15,000, depending on how complex the core workflow is and what it has to connect to. The quote is fixed before work starts. Agency MVP quotes of $40,000 and up usually include features that should have waited until after launch.

How long does it take to build an MVP?

Four to eight weeks for most. The timeline holds because the scope is small on purpose: new ideas that come up during the build are written down and quoted for after launch instead of squeezed in.

Will I have to rebuild it later?

Not if it is built on a normal stack. We use Next.js, TypeScript and Postgres, the same tools a full product would use, so the next phase extends the MVP instead of replacing it. Throwaway MVPs come from rushed code and dead-end tools, not from small scope.

Do you sign an NDA?

Yes, before you share anything detailed. Ideas are rarely the hard part to copy — execution is — but we are happy to sign one if it makes you comfortable.

Can you take over an MVP someone else started?

Often. We start with a short paid review of the code and tell you whether finishing or restarting is cheaper. Sometimes the honest answer is restart, and you should hear that before spending more.
